Warm-ups

Activation to escape from a 1C2 situation. The defending players must come out when the pass is made towards the player located in the square and must try to steal the ball from him, preventing him from scoring a goal in any mini-goal. The player who is located inside the square must perceive the environment to see if he is being harassed, where and what the free goal is, prepare to receive by choosing the appropriate leg and the correct surface, and execute the decision (the more progress with the ball, the more points do).

Warm-ups

1.Arrange four cones in a straight line with a spacing of 3-5 meters between each cone. You have at least two teams, with each team having three or more players. The teams line up at the first cone. Each team also gets a ball. 2. The first player in each team starts dribbling around the first cone and then goes back to give the ball to the next player in line. This player then dribbles around the middle cone and goes back the same way. The last player in line dribbles around the last cone and comes back to the starting point. The winning team is the one that finishes the 3 cones the fastest with all their players back at the starting line. You can do this drill multiple times with players rotating. It’s a great way to practice dribbling and have some friendly competition at the same time 3. Let the players choose which cone they want to start with. They can start with the one farthest away, the middle one, or the closest cone. Remind the players to keep the ball close to their bodies while dribbling. It helps them stay in control of the ball. The drill should be seen as inspiration. So feel free to adapt the drill to suit your team’s specific needs or focus areas.

Once the players are ready, the coach signals the start of the drill. The first player from each team runs to the first cone, ensuring they touch it with their hand to verify they’ve run the full distance. The players zig-zag through the cones and then take a shot at the small goal. The next player in line can only start once the previous player scores. The first team to score with all their balls wins the competition. The losing team(s) can be given a penalty, such as 10 push-ups. Repeat the drill as many times as the players’ fitness levels allow. The drill should be seen as inspiration. So feel free to adapt the drill to suit your team’s specific needs or focus areas.

FIrst Touch and Pass

Warm-ups

The starting player passes the ball to the player in the middle. The middle player takes a controlled first touch into one of the side boxes, turns, and then passes the ball to the next player. The receiving player takes a first touch to navigate the ball through the two cones with 1 meter between them, and the drill repeats from the other side. For rotation, players follow their pass, with the starting players moving into the middle, and the middle player going back in line after passing. Encourage the use of both boxes and both feet. Consider starting with using only the right foot and then switching to the left foot after a set time. Emphasize fast movement to the next cone after passing. Encourage players to stay on their toes, maintaining a state of readiness to receive the ball. The drill should be seen as inspiration. So feel free to adapt the drill to suit your team’s specific needs or focus areas.

Warm-ups

Set up four poles in a rectangle with some space between each to form a central gate. Position two players on each long side of the rectangle and one player inside the middle space between the poles. The drill starts with one outside player passing the ball across to the middle player, who performs a one-touch pass through the poles back to the opposite outside player. That outside player then plays a firm pass across to the opposite side, restarting the sequence. The player who made the first pass follows their pass and moves to the opposite side, keeping the rotation continuous. This drill emphasizes one-touch play, accuracy, awareness, and communication, serving as a sharp technical warm-up to activate players at the start of the session.
