How the drill works
This finishing drill is set up near the penalty area (D-box), with three attackers positioned on the left side and three on the right side, along with a goalkeeper in goal. A mannequin or passive defender is placed inside the box to simulate defensive pressure. The coach initiates the play by passing the ball to one of the attackers. The group of three must then complete a quick three-touch passing combination—including movement off the ball—to beat the mannequin and finish with a shot on goal. After the left-side group completes their turn, the coach plays a pass to the right-side trio, who repeat the sequence. The focus is on sharp combination play, timing, and clinical finishing under realistic pressure.
