How the drill works
A rectangular field divided into two equal halves. Each half hosts a 4v2 rondo setup. A pole is placed on both sides at the center where the two halves meet. There are 10 players total, divided into teams of 5 pairs Starting the Drill: The coach initiates play by passing a ball to one of the attackers in one half. Two defenders stationed near the pole sprint into that half to engage in a 4v2 scenario. Attackers must complete 5 consecutive touches/passes. Once the 5 passes done they will shift to other side. The defenders sprint to the second half to apply pressure, continuing the 4v2 rondo. If defenders intercept or touch the ball, the attacking player who lost possession and their partner must sprint around the pole to transition as the next defenders. The defending pair becomes attackers and join the rondo in the half where possession resumes.: the coach supplies a new ball to the attackers to maintain flow..
